Special Guest Christina Bennett. Christina Bennett’s mother revealed a secret she kept hidden for decades. In the early 1980’s her mother had an appointment at Mt. Sinai hospital in Hartford, CT. Pregnant, alone and afraid, she scheduled an abortion. A counselor assured her she was making the right choice. Moments before the procedure, an African-American janitor saw her crying and said, “Do you want to have this baby?” “Yes,” she replied. “Then God will give you the strength” she said. Moments later the doctor called Christina’s mother into his office. She told him she changed her mind and wanted to leave. With strength from above, her mom walked out. “My mother saved my life that day,” says Christina.
