Champions for Life Dinner 2018Bakersfield, California –

Mark your calendars now for Right to Life of Kern County’s sixth annual Champions for Life dinner featuring Star Parker, nationally syndicated columnist, author, and tireless advocate for life. Champions for Life 2018 will be Thursday, November 8 at Olive Drive Church of the Nazarene, 6201 Fruitvale Ave. Doors open at 5:30. Tickets are $75 and are on sale until 5 p.m. Tuesday, November 6.
Star Parker is founder and president of CARE, the Center for Urban Renewal and Education, a public policy think tank that promotes market-based solutions to fighting poverty. Prior to Parker’s foray into the tumultuous world of public policy, she lived for seven years in the grip of government dependence and reckless life choices that resulted in four abortions. Then, after attending a church service with friends, she found a new life in Jesus Christ and put those choices behind her for good.
