Changing the culture to create a pro-life society is a slow but blessed struggle! Culturally, people are beginning to recognize the horrors of abortions and abortion clinics. The docu-drama Gosnell highlighted the horrifying murders by America’s most-prolific serial killer, “Dr” Gosnell in Philadelphia. This article from the Washington Post starkly condemns Americans for turning their backs on how abortion discriminates against minority women.
And in the recent midterm elections, two states resoundingly voted for pro-life amendments to their states’ constitutions. Voters in Alabama voted to define the state’s role in protecting “the rights of unborn children”. Meanwhile votes in West Virginia took a different approach by adding to their constitution that “nothing in this constitution secures or protects a right to abortion or requires the funding of abortion”. These are important steps forward in ending abortion forever!
